Jacob Brown

Jacob Brown grew up in Jarvis Bay, ACT and began dancing after only after surfing and rugby had lost their charm. After completing his High School Certificate in 1998 he attended NAISDA in Sydney, Australia's national Indigenous dance training institution, where between 2001-2003 he performed in Beyond Blue directed by Gary Lang, Which Way by Monica Stevens and When The Dust Settles by Paul Saliba. In 2002 he performed at the Australian Dance awards at the Sydney Opera House. He began his Bachelor of Performance Art at the Victorian College of the Art in Melbourne in 2004, where he performed under the guidance of Rebecca Hilton, Stephanie Lake, Tracie Mitchel, Philip Adams and Carlee Mellow.
